Software Engineer, .NET Developer
Position Summary
File & ServeXpress LLC (FSX) is a premier provider of electronic filing and electronic service applications for the legal industry. The Software Engineer will have experience in C# and be familiar with some web development frameworks. Under the guidance of the Senior Engineer, the Software Engineer will develop solutions for features and enhancements to our suite of products.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, Develop, and maintain solutions for FSX’s clients
- Look for ways to improve processes and functionality to further deliver increased value to FSX’s clients
- Participate in all steps of the Agile process including Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Daily Scrum
- Thoroughly test through both automated and manual means all code to prove its effectiveness
- Collaborate and help team members by sharing knowledge and combining brainpower to solve problems
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- Experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- NET Web API is a plus
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- RDBMS (SQL, MySQL, etc.) experience is a plus.
- Experience with Git and GitFlow branching is a plus.
- Drive to understand the vision of a project and work closely with team members to see it through to completion
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug and back-end issues with tools such as Postman.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
